Anne is currently in the process of bringing a Private Members Bill to the Scottish Parliament that would see the introduction of a ‘soft opt-out’ system of organ donation in Scotland.

The Transplantation (Authorisation of Removal of Organs etc.) (Scotland) Bill was formally introduced to the Scottish Parliament on 1st June 2015.

Health and Sport Committee Call for Evidence:
The Health and Sport Committee at The Scottish Parliament has issued their call for evidence for the Organ Donation Bill.
Please send your views on the Bill by no later than 12 October.
