That the Parliament congratulates Drumchapel Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) on making more than £3 million of financial gains for its clients in 2013-14 as a direct result of the help that it provided; considers this to be a remarkable achievement and one that has put money back in the pockets of some of the poorest people in society; applauds not only the hard work and dedication, but also the knowledge and expertise of the staff at Drumchapel CAB, who make this success possible; notes that Citizens Advice has been providing this valuable service for more than 75 years, and wishes it all the best with its work in the future.

That the Parliament notes that Glasgow City Council will award the Royal Marines the Freedom of the City on 1 November 2014 to mark their 350th anniversary; notes that the ceremony will be followed by a parade of the Clyde-based 43 Commando Fleet Protection Group as well as veterans and Royal Marine cadets; further notes that the celebrations will include demonstrations by the Royal Marines as well as boats for participants to climb on; understands that this is only the third time that the Freedom of the City has been conferred on such a large scale to military personnel since it was introduced in the 1800s; recognises the brave service that the members of the Royal Marines provide and honours their achievements, and wishes them every success in the future.
